The Computer Engineering department prepares students to meet the growing demand for trained professionals in the information technology industry. One of the premier departments at the institute, Mechanical Engineering maintains laboratories recognised as testing facilities and operates dedicated workshops for practical training. All laboratories and workshops are well equipped as per the prescribed structure and syllabus, supported by a qualified, devoted and dedicated team of teaching staff. Students gain hands-on exposure across thermal, design, manufacturing and metrology disciplines.

Civil Engineering is the oldest and most respected of all engineering disciplines, and at YTP it trains students to design, build and manage the infrastructure of modern civilization, from buildings and bridges to highways and water supply systems. The curriculum encompasses structural, geotechnical and earthquake engineering alongside hydrology, water resources and environmental engineering, giving diploma holders a broad and employable foundation.
