Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering and Technology (YTIET) is a NAAC-accredited engineering college near Karjat in Raigad district, affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Established in 2005-06 under the Saraswati Education Society, YTIET offers Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering and Master of Management Studies programmes across a lush 80-acre green campus on Bhivpuri Road. Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering and Technology (YTIET) was established in 2005-06 under the Saraswati Education Society (SES Trust), a public charitable trust founded by Dr. Nandkumar Yadavrao Tasgaonkar. Affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, YTIET has grown into one of the established engineering colleges of the Karjat-Raigad belt, carrying the DTE institute code 3147.
