Saraswati Education Society founded
Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar establishes the trust at Karjat, opening the group’s first professional institutes.
Engineering education begins
Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering & Technology (YTIET) opens, affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
Engineering & polytechnic expand
YTCEM and the Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Polytechnic broaden technical education across the campuses.
Medical college & teaching hospital
NYTIMS begins MBBS (100 seats) with the 400-bed Raigad Hospital & Research Centre, affiliated to MUHS.
Ayurveda joins the ecosystem
Sau. Vandana N. Tasgaonkar Ayurved Mahavidyalaya (BAMS) opens with the Jeevak Ayurved Rugnalay.
