- Passed HSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects

- Admission to First Year Engineering is through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra
- Direct Second Year (DSE) entry: Diploma in Engineering and Technology or B.Sc. degree from a recognised institution with the required qualifying marks

How the program is structured year by year

Fees
For A.Y. 2025-26 at YTIET, the First Year Engineering OPEN-category total fee is Rs 57,000 (Rs 51,030 tuition + Rs 5,970 development) and Direct Second Year is Rs 52,000, with substantial concessions for reserved categories. At YTCEM, the First Year OPEN total fee is Rs 53,000 and Direct Second Year Rs 44,000. SC/ST candidates have nil tuition. Fees are subject to Fee Regulating Authority approval.
