Computer Engineering

Head of Department: Prof. Sameer Patil

Established in 2008 to meet the growing demand for trained professionals in the information technology industry, the Department of Computer Engineering offers a comprehensive curriculum spanning programming, databases, web technology, software engineering, operating systems, computer communication and networking, and system security. The department's vision centres on IT-based learning, nurturing entrepreneurship among students, and evolving into a Centre of Excellence.

Information Technology

Head of Department: Prof. Amit Mhaskar

The Information Technology department covers the design, development, implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems, with particular emphasis on software applications and computer hardware. Recognising that IT is one of the few sectors that is never stagnant, the department instils a culture of continuous knowledge upgrading and is supported by specialised laboratories in software engineering, databases, programming, web technology, microprocessors, multimedia and operating systems.

Mechanical Engineering

Head of Department: Prof. Sameer Patil

The Mechanical Engineering department offers a robust curriculum designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. With state-of-the-art laboratories and experienced faculty dedicated to fostering innovation and research, the department maintains strong industry collaboration to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the engineering field. Its facilities span thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, strength of materials, CAD, metrology, refrigeration and air conditioning, and metallurgy.

Civil Engineering

Head of Department: Prof. Praful Jawanjal

Civil Engineering is the oldest and most respected of all engineering disciplines, concerned with the design, construction and management of the infrastructure of civilization - buildings, bridges, highways, water supply systems and other public works. The department's curriculum encompasses structural engineering and mechanics, geotechnical and earthquake engineering, hydrology and water resources, transportation, concrete technology, surveying and environmental engineering, with a strong emphasis on designing sustainable solutions.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Head of Department: Dr. Raju Sairise

Established in the academic year 2008-09, the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering department addresses one of the most rapidly developing and dynamic branches of engineering. The curriculum gives students hands-on exposure to areas such as satellite communication and digital signal processing, supported by well-equipped laboratories that meet AICTE norms in analog and digital electronics, communication systems, control systems, antennas and electrical networking.
