How to apply

    Categories Offered

    Admissions are conducted for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Direct Second Year Engineering (DSE) programs as per the guidelines of DTE Maharashtra, CET Cell, and the University of Mumbai.

    UG (First Year) Eligibility

    Candidate must have passed HSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained qualifying marks.

    PG Eligibility

    A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university with qualifying marks as prescribed by the competent authority.

    DSE Eligibility

    Completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or B.Sc. Degree from a recognized institution with required qualifying marks.

Eligibility by program

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)

Undergraduate4 years / 8 semesters (Direct Second Year lateral entry: 3 years)
  • Passed HSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects
  • Must qualify MHT-CET or JEE Main
  • Admission to First Year Engineering is through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra
  • Direct Second Year (DSE) entry: Diploma in Engineering and Technology or B.Sc. degree from a recognised institution with the required qualifying marks

Entrance: MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test), JEE Main

Master of Engineering (M.E.)

Postgraduate2 years (full-time postgraduate)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university with the qualifying marks prescribed by the competent authority (a minimum of around 55% is referenced for postgraduate eligibility)
  • Admission through GATE score or MAH-M.E./M.Tech CET
  • Specialisation selection based on the candidate's undergraduate engineering background

Entrance: GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering), MAH-M.E./M.Tech CET (Maharashtra PG engineering CET)
