The postgraduate MD/MS programmes at Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science (NYTIMS) offer three-year specialisation across ten clinical and para-clinical disciplines, with a total of 36 sanctioned seats. Affiliated to MUHS, Nashik and permitted by the National Medical Commission, the programmes give qualified MBBS doctors intensive, supervised training at the attached 400-bed Raigad Hospital & Research Centre - a teaching hospital with six major operation theatres, advanced radiology and pathology, and round-the-clock emergency and obstetric services. Admission is through NEET-PG and MUHS counselling, preparing doctors for consultant practice, super-specialisation and academic medicine.
