Eligibility & entrance
- First Year: Indian citizen who has completed SSC (10th) with at least 35% aggregate marks, or HSC with Science and Mathematics as required subjects; no upper age limit
- Direct Second Year (lateral entry): HSC Science/Technical/Vocational pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/VJ/DT/NT and OBC candidates) and a non-zero score in the Common Entrance Test administered by MSBTE or an equivalent recognised test
- Admission through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
